I’ve started a new diet — a strict nutritional regimen I fondly call South Beach Schmouth Beach.
Cutting carbs? Passe.
For a slim, haven’t-slept-in-days look, I’m cutting — everything! Nicknamed “Girl On the Go-Go,” my daily menu consists of one double soy latte, two triple soy cappuccinos, two protein bars, and hopefully one square meal, like a salad at a lunch meeting, a stress-induced vegan chocolate chip cookie binge, or take-out veggie dumplings around 10 p.m.
Months of this, and I feel fresh, I feel light (headed), I feel –
Like taking a break.
So I’ve earmarked a day for splashing and swimming in Dutch chocolates, Manuka honeys, and wild berries. Celly off, I’ll be luxuriating in a healthy decadence a la skin care line Bella Lucce, living in my bathtub for at least 12 hours. Made of the freshest, most pure ingredients, and hand-stirred and hand-poured, each product is a delicious little organic miracle.
And it’ll be a miracle that, in my sleep-deprived delirium, I don’t eat the Bali Kopi Coffee Scrub.
