Best of: God Bless Immigration Rally for Shutting Down American Apparel
Though I’m tempted to ramble right wing about these pro-immigration rallies
- perhaps likening that everyone should be let into America to a poorly dressed size 14 demanding access to my walk-in closet -
My main motivation would be only to raise tempers and my dot-com traffic, so I’ll avoid doing so.
I’m grateful to these immigration rallies for one thing:
For one business day American Apparel’s warehouse will be closed, and therefore thousands of ill-fitting T shirts, leggings, and other hipster duds will go un-born.

Oh, I hate them, too! I fail — always failed– to see the appeal. I even read the NYT piece on them, but still… failed miserably. They opened a store in downtown Philly and it gives me the shivers any time I pass by.

Why don’t you want to support the workers in your own country? Other countries support their own. We should do the same. I guess if your main interest is fashion, airhead comes easily for you.

Though fashion is hardly my main interest–
I enjoy not eating, reading books that weigh more than I do, and investing money into Starbucks (the store, not the stock)
– If it were my main interest, it’d still be proof of my superior intellect.
