JJ: How did you get involved in fashion? JJ: Hoe ben je betrokken in de mode?
KD: I've been freelancing as a writer since I was 15, and when I was 17 I got my first paid writing gigs as a music journalist. KD: Ik heb freelancen als schrijver, omdat ik 15 was, en toen ik 17 was kreeg ik mijn eerste betaalde optredens schriftelijk als muziek journalist. That lasted all about five minutes – I started writing about fashion when I realized I was more interested in style and the fashion industry's unapologetic commercialism than bands spewing their press releases at me in Hollywood diners. Dat duurde al ongeveer vijf minuten - ik begon te schrijven over mode toen realiseerde ik me dat ik was meer geïnteresseerd in de stijl en de mode-industrie unapologetic commercie dan bands spewing hun persberichten op me in Hollywood diners.
