Fashion blogger Jared Johnson played Q&A with your K:

JJ: How did you get involved in fashion?

KD: I’ve been freelancing as a writer since I was 15, and when I was 17 I got my first paid writing gigs as a music journalist. That lasted all about five minutes - I started writing about fashion when I realized I was more interested in style and the fashion industry’s unapologetic commercialism than bands spewing their press releases at me in Hollywood diners.
