Hey, Kristopher. I love your blog. I love your sense of style. So, I was wondering if you could help me out with a little problem. I just bought these denim skirt overalls, and I don’t exactly know what to wear with them. So, I was hoping you could give me ideas on like what tops would look good and what kind of shoes I should wear. Or should I just put them away till summer time?

I’m of the School of Rock Whatever Flatters You and Makes You Smile. Which is why you’ll catch me coffee shop’ing in velvet platforms and a beaded cocktail dress.

So let’s get your overalls on.

The right shirt will depend on how high or low the overalls come up, but I’ll get my guess on: they have the usual mid-chest neckline?

Either way, take your overalls from girly to glammy, from suburban to boss lady with a cleanly chic, romantic blouse, like this Etro chiffon blouse ($599).

Slip on some opaque black tights, skyscraper pumps (Fendi “B” peeptoe, $505), and top with a casually glam coat, like this Etro plaid swing coat ($1,392).

Kristopher, yes darling, you did make me go Ooh la love..I love your picks especially the jacket. I’m the reader who sent in the email. So, I just want to say thanks again, you’re a doll and keep up the faboulous job with the blog..If I would of never came upon it, I think my little overall situation would of been a “oh let’s just take them back”..Anyway’s thanks, you’re GREAT!.

love love love them! yowzi!. i think those will look amazing with black cuff shorts with suspenders, oversized dress shirt white with black pin stripes, a fedora some large chain links and a cork cuff bracelet. hot!
