Ask Your K: Sergio Rossi Shoes with Your Vintage

I’m attending a mini-fashion show in June. I’ve already bought a grey halter dress, but I need ideas on shoes and maybe a clutch. What other accessories can I include to give me that classy look and keep to the dress code: vintage without looking overboard?
Xoxo,
Raquel
Even though you didn’t sign off XXX, I’ll help you doll up, doll.
To keep your vintage vibing fresh retro instead of stale costume, your base is buying timeless pieces–little black dresses, ’50s pencil skirts, ’60s A-lines–and accessorizing with modern shapes.
So skip on rocking your frock with platform peeptoes, and keep clean with wood-grain suede Sergio Rossi shoes ($560).
Stay naked of jewelry, except for a clear Lucite cocktail ring (Forever 21, $3), and bag this boss Stuart Weitzman clutch ($335): its hard angles and plastic patent leather take your outfit back to the future.
French kisses,
K

Ughhh, I found some vintage Sergio Rossi boots a while ago at a thrift store, and I left them behind. Why? I have absolutely no idea, but they were a wine colored suede with a sharp heel. Big mistake.

Completely my pleasure, Raq, especially with your dirty signature.
