Remove AntiVirGear 3.7 (Removal Instructions for the Bastard)

I was making out with my MacBook, running Parallels so I could use Windows XP and remember why I own a glossy Apple. And while my fingers were flying ‘cross the keyboard, double-checking my dot-com in PC land, I get a pop-up:
“Warning! 12 threats found!
AntiVirGear has detected malicious spyware on your PC. To buy AntiVirGear On-Line, click ‘Buy On-Line’.”
I’m smarter than my wearing hooker heels to business lunches implies, though, so I skipped clicking that shit and Google’d. Turns out AntiVirGear is rogue anti-spyware, which means AntiVirGear is to real anti-spyware what peep-toes by Mr. Madden are to platforms by Monsieur Christian Louboutin. In other words — don’t buy AntiVirGear 3.7. From 411-Spyware.com:
AntiVirGear 3.7 may be installed onto your computer via free video codec Video ActiveX Enhancement 2.07, Trojan Zlob, or when you visit a questionable website. Besides making your system unstable, AntiVirGear 3.7 may make you want to throw your PC out the window. So you may want to remove AntiVirGear 3.7. AntiVirGear 3.7 may be a clone of rogue antispyware VirusProtect Pro and VirusBurst.
If you’ve had the misfortune of meeting AntiVirGear 3.7, you can remove AntiVirGear 3.7 here. There are AntiVirGear 3.7 removal instructions and a free spyware scan for AntiVirGear 3.7.

K
