Ayn Rand and The World She Made Kindle Book
Reading
She commanded so much respect that when Playboy interviewed Ayn Rand in the ’60s, she edited the interview, striking some of the writer’s questions, rearranging her answers, and instructing Playboy‘s editor how she wanted her introduction to read.
She wrote a novel that people voted as the most influential book, next to the Bible.
She had an affair with a man half her age, with the consent of both their spouses.
She also, according to author of Ayn Rand and The World She Made Kindle book, made a uniform of a black velvet cape, a gold dollar-sign brooch, and an ivory cigarette holder, and used prescription amphetamines to fuel 24-hour writing sessions.
My sort of lady…

Was there ever another female writer/philosopher who was as infuential as Ayn Rand?
I think not.
Ayn Rand, required reading in our family.

Too bad she was insane, and that’s insulting those with true mental problems.
Ayn Rand, who can be read in our family, but only after discussing the merits of her work, in both a philosophical and literary way. Then the sensible family members reject the philosophy, as all sensible people do.

From the day I started reading, I’ve wondered if you were more Dagney or Dominique. I think I’ve landed on the latter but truth be told you’re likely your own singular character in some unwritten or hiding Rand manifesto. I like it a lot.

mmm Randian Objectivism, it’s unfortunate the die hard followers don’t also commit Hari Kari to prove Ayn Rand’s statements.
