German Shepherds are the best dogs – handsome and smart. I believe they’re the third most intelligent breed, after Border Collies and Poodles. Major Dukes is beautiful.
As for the shedding, I recommend a Furminator brush and a Dyson vacuum cleaner to keep things manageable.

Sorry…most like “pets” in general, but not everyone likes dogs.
This site is not for me anymore as you have lost your focus.
Good luck with your dog stories.

“Good luck with your dog stories.”
Hilarious. I actually like the Major Dukes tales, they’re good for variety and that photo is great. Plus, being an animal lover makes you seem a little less icy, even if you did have to get one trained to destroy.

This post cracked me up (as do all of your other posts). Rosemary needs a swift kick to the curb. And I’m with Jayw… get the furminator…and lots and lots of tape rolls. Oh and the Drinkwell 360 so Major Dukes water is always filter, fresh and cold.

Jayw, you’re right on about German Shepherds being the best. And about the Furminator. Kristopher Furminates me on the daily.
Sarah, thank you for your support. Kristopher and I are still bonding, but I can tell she’s already much better contained. Also, I appreciate your use of the word “destroy” — it’s catching. But I’d like to clarify that my work is really about creating opportunities for Kristopher, not destroying anything.
Stacia, thank you also for your support. I’ll have Kristopher look into the Drinkwell 360. Sometimes she’ll use her own water filter to fill up my bowl, but I’ve caught her using plain tap water to save a few seconds. Drinkwell 360 could be a good solution; hitting her on the nose with a newspaper seems to confuse her (maybe she’s pretending, though, as I swear I see guilt in her eyes).
Kaylie, I am fashionable. And au naturale. Unlike Kristopher and her burgundy bob. Funny, none of her ancestors have that shade of red hair. Must be a recessive gene.
Rosemary, Kristopher said the same thing you said on February 22, at 9:09 pm, and I just caught her eating one of my meat cookies.
We can work through this.

My pups over here are both drooling over Major Dukes. And they’re rather sexy bitches. Just thought you’d like to know.
