Using:
Give my German Shepherd Major Dukes anything and a few hours, and he’ll chew through it — including my Prada shoes, and excepting this Nylabone Rhino Rope Toy.
After replacing my make-you-sweat-blood P90X DVD workout with a brutal, bruising game of tug o’ war with Major, this is the only dog toy that’s lasted months.
Still, this Rhino Rope Toy would be better if it was shaped like a large man’s arm, and when Major bit it, it squeaked, “I’m sorry, lady, you can keep your vintage Hermes Herbag/“K” signet pinkie ring/Rolex with a unique dial…”

Hating:
Mineral makeup Senna gives good face — even after trading my moisturizer, sunscreen, and foundation for BB cream, I still stock two or three compacts of Senna Mineral Mix powder foundation. And Senna’s publicist spoils me with the best blushes and eyeshadows, along with answering my requests to try products like Senna’s Totally Transforming Eyeshadow Primer.
So Senna’s eyeshadow primer was a great base for shadow — it could substitute for under-eye concealer, and it contains a potent vegetable ogliopeptide that works like Botox. But couldn’t Senna’s eyeshadow primer have kept my smoky eyeshadow creaseless for a day?
And wouldn’t Dark Knight be a better movie if Bruce Wayne would just discuss how Martin Scorsese’s Age of Innocence is the perfect illustration to Edith Wharton’s same-name novel?
And why couldn’t Jesus turn water into green tea soy lattes, instead of wine?
I’m not asking for too much, am I…

Wanting:

I’ve gotten through 14-hour flights with only intentionally smudged smoky eyes thanks to piling on powder foundation as a base for creaseless eyeshadow.
But life’s as short as my skirt — if I can cut five minutes out of my daily routine, I’m game, so I’m wondering if Benefit creaseless cream eyeshadow and liner really works…

Wearing:

My vanity is only equaled by my laziness, so permanent makeup piqued my interest in high school — but not so much that I’d risk decades of green-black, Ronald McDonald-style arches.
Heavy Googling led me to Amy Kernahan, a semi-permanent makeup artist with a traditional cosmetics background. Red-headed Amy is as lovely-looking as she’s good (check Amy’s semi-permanent makeup before and after‘s): she heard my request for Liz Taylor-like brows, then explained why thinner arches better framed my face. After explaining semi-permanent brows take two sessions (the first to test the color on my skin, and a touch-up a month later), she warned me that my new tattoo brows would look shockingly dark the first few days. Two hours after I walked out of Amy’s, it looked like someone had drawn on my brows with a Sharpie. But months after my second appointment, I’ve woken up with perfect arches every a.m., and tossed away my brow pencils.
Now if we could figure out how to permanently handle my eyeshadow and blush. And maybe I could Krazy Glue my stilettos on…

Using:
My mind’s diet of pre-1920s literature — excepting Gone with the Wind (1936) — keeps me flexible about social mores, making me rational enough that my sanity is occasionally questioned.
So New Age-y, alternative medicine interests me despite its mysticism — there are simply things science can’t yet quantify, that culture is philosophically opposed to and incentivized against.
Think instead of drugging away symptoms, holistic healing that treats your mind/body problems — perhaps thanks to “eight computer screens engaged in scalar wave-generating color and code conversations,” as in Beneveda Medical Group‘s Energy Enhancement room.
An hour in Beneveda’s Energy Enhancement room ($35 per) has been compared to a mini vacay, though the first few sessions may leave you with a detoxing, dehydrated body and a sore throat.
I felt the latter, along with the frequent urge to pee for a day. But Beneveda’s skeptical publicist that came with was surprised by feeling more zen than she has in years.
Was it just the power of suggestion?
My dear, I don’t give a damn — I’m going back to Beneveda for a naturopathic medical consultation…

The cPRIME NEO bracelet is to a drugstore copper cuff what a Porsche is to a Volkswagen: incomparable, and more money. A top trainer told me he has more energy than ever, thanks to his cPRIME NEO bracelet. And according to Mycprime.com, cPRIME NEO bracelet‘s “proprietary, patent-pending technology acts as a bioantenna, altering the way your body interacts with its electromagnetic environment, which may help balance and optimize biological responses.” A study at Joel Sherr Physical Therapy Centers and California Medical Arts showed average improvements in strength of 20%, flexibility of 15%, and balance (eyes open) of 18% and (eyes closed) of 55%.
Also according to Mycprime.com, you can be compensated as a cPRIME NEO bracelet advocate.
I need to add to my collection of vintage Hermes Herbags.
Who’s ready to heal?

Wanting:
A year ago I had invincible skin — I could eat fried lavender goat cheese dipped in chocolate for every meal, poke and prod my face, and it was still perfect — thanks to a magical mix of hydroquinone, Retin-A, and hydrocortisone that was likely to leave me a mutant in a few years. I still switch between Retin-A and hydroquinone every six months, but nothing has proven more effective than my past tub of 90210 toxins. So I figure I’d experiment with Japanese and Korean skin whiteners.
According to an e-boutique pimping Kose Sekkisei products, Kose Sekkisei is one of the most popular whitening series in Asia, and Kose Medicated Sekkisei Whitening Cream is approved by Japan Ministry of Health.
So I wouldn’t buy a skin cream endorsed by any first lady besides Jackie O, but いくらですか?
