TYPES OF LEATHER

Imitation leather: n. any manmade material designed to look and feel like leather. See also “vinyl.”

Kipskin: n. leather made from young cattles’ skin.

Lambskin: n. leather made from a young sheep’s or “lamb’s” skin. See also “sheepskin.”
