My typical uniform is a custom silk jersey racerback tank dress, a custom shawl-collar wrap coat, five-inch mules, and some sort of a vintage Hermes Kelly (which I’m typically too lazy to close, so it’s wide open, vomiting its insides of an iPhone, Hermes wallet, Porsche key, and 100% chicken treats [for Major, not me].)

But then I have these days when I’m running around, dressed down like a dog lady (with ridick, carefully smudged smoky eyes).

Hopefully these rubber Belgian shoes will make those days a bit more bearable, and keep my Kelly from completely losing its lunch…

Belgian shoes are handmade in just one style, but come in every color and material, from lime to lavendar, from lizard to linen. You can buy them at one store in midtown Manhattan, or get Belgian shoes on eBay, for half their retail price.

Some people love Belgian shoes for travel, others swear Belgian slippers are proper with a tuxe, and I dig blue lizard Belgian shoes as house slippers.
