The only Louis Vuitton worth having is bespoke. And whoever ordered this Louis Vuitton gadget trunk — with a solar-powered TV and coffee maker — knows. So my favorite cheese is Humboldt Fog goat — I dig LV-flavored, too… |

Louis’s mostly lame — but I’m a sucker for the texture of their epi leather, so I gave into this Louis Vuitton iPhone condom… |

I stumbled on these Oonagh O’Hagen designer bag totes through Bag Snob, and they remind me of bolt-on boobs: easily bought, cheap appeal — that I’m equally repulsed and attracted to. If I ever carried one, I’d use the Louis Vuitton-print tote bag — Louis’s are already so cheese, and this would be good for grocery shopping… |

I’ve a uniform: a custom-made silk jersey tank dress, a fancy Hermes fanny pack (pictures of my pet to come, my pets), and four-inch Giuseppes. This keeps me overdressed by most LA standards, but lately I’ve been hunting for a suit to wear to rare meetings. And what beats investing in vintage Chanel? What i love most about vintage Chanel suits are their no-one-else-knows luxury, like that gold chain-weighted hem… |
 |
Vintage Chanel suits purr power, like the engine of a Phantom, like the Godfather petting a kitten. Sure, the brass buttons give this Chanel suit away, but the boxy blazer skims over a blouson top, tucked into a loose skirt, all in a basic black that only serves as a background to your own beauty. This vintage Chanel suit says you don’t need to say anything… |
 |
The whole appeal of a vintage Chanel suit isn’t so much in a super flattering silhouette as in the quiet luxe of it, the economy of its elegance, the subtlety of its sex. So why bother with a boring red suit tagged Chanel? Thanks for nothing, Karl… |

Where do you shop choice Hermes outside of Hermes boutiques and a minefield of fakes on eBay? Japanese e-boutique L’ecrin pimps everything from basic Birkins to a Globetrotter-esque Hermes attaché lined in equestrian-print silk. They’ve also got a Kelly Danse, which I just invested in… |

I love stingray, especially in steel, especially over steel heels. The Donna Karan Collection shoes I’m “wearing” I found on sale at Loehmann’s, which is my guilty pleasure: I love the hit-or-miss hunt there. Too bad these darlings weren’t also lying on some shoddy table, tagged less than a benjie… |

You need to see the python in person: it’s a sharp chartreuse, and the scales are flaking off softly, so you get a rich pastry texture. That five inch heel doesn’t hurt how your legs look, either… |

The beauty of Donna Karan Collection shoes I love are in their bold simplicity. Cheap baubles are just distracting… |

Espadrilles are choice for summer: an ambitious arch is easy to wear when its woven into a relaxed wedge. I’m a sucker for closed-toe espadrilles: I like the classic contrast with the open back… |

I bought these Stella McCartney espadrilles on sale at Intermix and wore them every day on my vacay. The knotted scarf ties are great, but what really got me was that woven wedge. I love the lines; it exaggerates the arch of the shoe… |
