EcoTools mailed me an EcoTools blush brush and an EcoTools foundation brush to try. If I wasn’t obsessed with my Shu Uemura brushes, I’d use this EcoTools powder brush on the daily — it’s probably 80% as good as the best in the business, at 10% of the price…

So why am I hating this EcoTools blush brush? Because it’s also close to as good as my Shu Uemura brush, though EcoTools blush brush only costs a matcha green tea soy latte…

Shiseido powdery foundation compact isn’t the best — La Prairie powder feels like cream, Guerlain is gorgeous — but “Very Light Ivory” is invisible on me. And if I use it as a base on my lids, a smoky eye lasts past pillow play. My rule of thumb? Try out foundations until you find one that looks natural when you’re naked…
